Chris Baker is part of ink gallery collections and has previously exhibited here as an Open Call artist for Primer, a showcase of painters internationally and UK based artists.
 
Chris Baker has studied Graphic Design in North Wales and graduated in Fine Art in 2008 and have been developing this style of painting since that time Solo exhibitions have included the Oriel Scala, Prestatyn, Theatr Clwyd, Mold and Oriel Ger-y-Fenai, LlanfairPG exhibiting also in group exhibitions throughout the North Wales area.
 
Chris Baker is inspired by their surroundings in North Wales as their initial inspiration for most of their artwork which investigates light, shade and shadows created in landscape. Using a limited palette of paynes grey and white, they study the effect of tones and perspective to create a sense of haunting mystery and dark corners to provoke memories and varied associations in the viewer, trying to get that sense of the present tense, that sense of eternity being in every moment.
