Here is some more infomation about Josh's Digital Print the Wyverns Over Chester:

Be careful! Here be dragons ... This whimsical wyvern (a two legged winged dragon) is showing off and swooping the city to have a look around, be careful not to wave anything too shiny at it!
Native to much of Northern and Central Europe these creatures are a real treat to see. Sadly they are extremely rare, borderline extinct, due to a bloody history of trophy hunting. Their horns and teeth are also prized as potions ingredients.

Your common wyvern will not get much bigger than a 30m wingspan however there have been historical records of exceptions ( fossil records) as this individual seems to do.
It is likely female as they are generally much larger than the males. A wyvern can live a very long time up to 300 years in fact but they stop growing at around 2 years old, during this growth stage they must consume vast amounts of calories and so begin hunting for themselves at around 2 months old as well as continuing to eat everything the parents can hunt until they are kicked out of the nest at around 3.
Wyvern come in a variety of colours but usually tend to be more earthy tones. Scroll across to see. They can however make their colours brighter across their wing and head fin membranes for threat and mating displays by pumping specific chromatic cells much like those of your common cuttlefish.
Wyvern are typically nocturnal in order to avoid other perhaps larger or more manoeuvrable aerial predators, however they can be can be spotted during daylight hours performing impressive airborne mating displays from early September to the end of November.
Once a mate is selected they will link their talons and perform a death defying free fall, swooping back up at the last minute.
