Terms and Conditions:
Commission: The gallery takes a commission of 40% (after VAT) of any sale. Photographer will be paid in a minimum of 4–5 weeks.
Work Delivery: Photographers must deliver their prints to the gallery within 28 days of booking their space. This can be done in person or by post. If the work is not received within this timeframe, the gallery space will be forfeited without a refund. It is the photographer’s responsibility to arrange postage to and from Ink Gallery.
Post-Exhibition Retrieval: After the one-month display period, photographers are responsible for retrieving their prints. This can be done by picking them up in person from the gallery or by arranging and paying for postage. The gallery is not responsible for works that are not retrieved within 14 days after the exhibition ends and may dispose of them accordingly.
Print Size Compliance: The size of the work must match the agreed-upon dimensions. If the print exceeds the agreed size, it will not be displayed until full payment for the additional space is received.
Liability for Damage: The gallery is not responsible for any damage that may occur during posting, hanging, or return. Photographers are encouraged to ensure their work is properly packaged and insured during transport and during display.
Content Policy: Photography that contains overtly offensive or sensitive subjects, as determined at the gallery’s discretion, will not be accepted or displayed. Photographers are advised to consider the gallery's diverse audience when selecting pieces for exhibition. If such a situation occurs, you will receive a full refund within 28 days.
Disclaimer:If work has been shipped to the gallery within the 28 days and still has not arrived, it is not the gallery's responsibility to report lost packages. It is the photographer's duty to report it to the postal service or to pay for any custom invoices.
Refund Policy: If the gallery is contacted within 14 days of purchase of the display fee due to change of mind, shipping issues, or any other reason, a refund will be offered.
Promotional Use: By purchasing gallery wall space, the photographer grants the gallery the right to use images of the work for promotional purposes, such as social media, website, and marketing materials. The copyright of the images remains with the photographer.
